A Conversation with Charles Bernstein at, and on, the Museum of Modern Art, New York

‘Interviews on Site’ is a new series of video interviews presented by literaryactivism.com and the Center for the Creative and the Critical, Ashoka University.

We begin with a conversation with poet and critic Charles Bernstein at MOMA, New York. As you might expect, the interview is about MOMA, New York – its view of modern art and the paintings it displays; its spaces and decor; the street on which it stands. Bernstein shares his thoughts with his interlocutor, Amit Chaudhuri.

The video was recorded on Bernstein’s cellphone post-midday on 21st September 2022.

Charles Bernstein’s most recent books are Topsy/Turvy and Pitch of Poetry. In 2018, he was awarded the Bollingen Prize for Poetry. He lives in Brooklyn.
